My debt is in excess of $40,000; I have lost my job and my husband is retired. I am 60 + years and am having a problem finding employment. My wages were good before I was forced to resign and at that time paying my bills was not a problem. While I still maintain my bills, our future looks bleak unless I can do something about my situation. At the moment I am collecting UI but it will not last forever. My husband takes care of the home expenses while I try to keep paying my creditors. I think I need help, but am not sure what I should do. Meeting with someone to discuss this issue may be a plus for me.

I am trying to pay my mortgage and debt consolidation of 3 2,000 credit bills with a living paycheck to paycheck income. It is becoming impossible to do this.

I’m just keeping my head above water. I have credit card debt of approximately $11,000, a mortgage of $576 and a home equity loan of $200/mo. and my monthly income is approximately $1700. I make minimum payments on the charge cards. I am struggling and need financial relief before I go under.

Hi i just got done paying 2 major credit cards off; left me almost homeless; i have to more to pay 2 repossens on truck and car;. been working for a little over a year; lost my job.. just getting back on my feet; filed 2004 can i file again… sinceraly Robin..

I am running out of money in my IRA account. My sole income each month is from my Social Security benefit. I have been paying my credit cards from my IRA account. When it is closed I have no other way to pay my credit cards on top of my utility bills, meals, cable, etc. I need help asap. Thanks.

my wages are being garnesed i cant afford this i dont make enough money to take care of evey thing else and if you can help me would i have to come up with all the money at one time

I read your book, and found it very helpful. However, I am in a situation where I have been on unemployment for 14 months, and have a small retirement. I have looked for many jobs, and not 1 offer. I am 58 almost 59, and I suffer from diabetes, depression, anxiety, and high blood pressure. I have no medical insurance and probably will not go back to work. I have already filed chapter 7 with you. Is there any other direction you can provide to me?
